Petzl e+LITE Headlamp

Having a bad day? An epic? When your adventure keeps you out longer than expected, you'll need a back-up light, and Petzl designed this one for just that occasion.

Only 27 grams and less than 5 centimeters, it takes up hardly any pack space and you can put it in there are forget about it — for 10 years. The included lithium batteries can be stored that long, and there's no worries about the light accidentally turning on when you're not looking because Petzl designed in a locking switch to prevent that. (We hate fumbling with batteries in the dark, too!)

Its white light is bright enough to move around rough terrain in the dark, and a red light plus a strobe selection can be used for signaling. Waterproof and resists extreme temperatures.
