Voile ASYLUM Ski '08/'09
Sometimes, a season's pass can drive you crazy. If you've lost your mind sitting in resort traffic to throw elbows with the rest of the inmates at the inbounds sanatarium, perhaps you should seek asylum in the back country.
Starting at a floatalicious 110 underfoot, the Voile Asylum is built to float backcountry powder in big mountain style. With an aspen wood core wrapped in Voile's triaxial carbon glass construction, the Asylum is crazy light for uphill climbs but has the sidecut and mad lateral strength to take on the wildest-eyed descents.
We are carrying only the flat deck Asylum (2008/2009 edition). Voile recommends that only Alpine Touring bindings be mounted to this. Mounting telemark bindings to the flat deck Asylum voids the warranty on the ski.
