You might not find us driving a "hybrid" car, at least not until they come with 33 inch tires anyway — but Black Diamond has given the AMPerage a "hybrid" ski shape that we love to ride every day. Deep sidecut, full waist, tip and tail rise, but camber underfoot, make this a floaty ski that drops backcountry booters one lap, arcs down groomers back to the lift, then lets you bound through the crust on the shady side for the next lap.
