Black Diamond VERDICT Ski
"Dry" is how we at Wildy X like our powder, but "damp" is how we like our skis. At Black Diamond they heard about what we like, and now the redesigned Verdict is in. A true all-mountain ski that holds an edge in firm stuff, absorbs chop and crud like it was whipped butter, and of course can still float the pow-pow.
This year the Verdict has new 3D Metal Sandwich construction (a sidewall-style layup with Titanal sheets machined into BD's recognizable ribs and channels) to provide stability at any speed. With a sidecut aggressive enough for the iciest inbound hardpack, the Verdict still throws 102mm underfoot to float you through the most blower backcountry days. The early-rise tip eases turn initiation making this Verdict a little more forgiving than previously stern judgements.
